It's 2009!
What a great first sentence LOL.
2008 was a great year for me personally, and I'm hoping 2009 will bring more greatness!
Aside from being a great year in general, here's to a great year for movies.
The first movie I watched in 2009 was "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button." It was a good movie. I liked "Slumdog Millionare" more, and I thought it was WAYYYY to long and dragged in the middle, but it was still an excellent movie. David Fincher is a great director, and the acting was top-notch. Good movie, I recommend it highly.
The only other movie I saw in 2009 was "Wanted" which I rented on DVD. It was an enjoyable (very violent) action movie. The effects were great, and the overall movie was very exciting, but the writing was eh. The narrative was excellent, and their was a good twist, but character development was weak and mood swings happened suddenly. I was surprised with how good the acting was though.
I'm gonna start doing full-length reviews (one of my two New Year's resolutions) so please be positive and give me feedback about my reviews.
But yeah...reviews...I'll be reviewing "The Unborn" (the first 2009 movie I'll be seeing...so excited!) and please comment and give feedback
Anyway, I finished "Veronica Mars" Season 1 and I'm on Season 2. I also have Scrubs Season 1, Friends Season 6, 24 Season 2 and LOST Season 1 to watch...and "Heroes" returns on Feb. 2. Quite a busy TV schedule I've got LOL.
Anyway, the Movie Lover is OUTT!
